This site is a resource for teachers and students working with ratios, rates, proportions, and proportional reasoning.
As a teacher of middle school mathematics I often struggle with teaching the ideas of proportional reasoning. Proportional concepts are difficult for students to learn. Additionally bad habits and misconceptions are hard to break. For this reason this site exists to provide resources to support the growth of proportional reasoning, an essential skill in the development of algebraic thinking.
